The Flyers matched their season-best winning streak of three games with a 2-1 decision Monday night over the Predators at the Wells Fargo Center.

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Flyers won their third straight game under new coach Brad Shaw, 2-1 against the Nashville Predators at Wells Fargo Center on Monday. Shaw was promoted from assistant Thursday after Philadelphia fired John Tortorella.

In a battle against a physical Predators team, the Flyers managed to grind out a 2-1 victory— their third straight win—by relying on timely scoring, improved goaltending, and a relentless work ethic that has defined their season.

The Philadelphia Flyers held off the Nashville Predators, 2-1, on Monday evening at Wells Fargo Center. The Flyers went 3-0-0 on their homestand. Goaltender Ivan Fedotov earned the win in net with 28 saves.
