Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George sat out Tuesday night against Los Angeles with an injured finger, the 15th game he's missed this season. George sustained tendon damage to the little finger on his non-shooting left hand when he jammed it Saturday against Chicago.

Just as he looked like he was finding his stride with the Philadelphia 76ers, Paul George once again finds himself on the sidelines. Ahead of their matchup with the LA Lakers, the team provided an update on the All-Star forward.

The organization had high expectations after signing Paul George over the offseason to team up with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. However, George's time in the City of Brotherly Love may be shortlived, according to Vince Goodwill of Yahoo! Sports .

Embiid, who has been out since Jan. 4 with a foot sprain and knee swelling stemming from last year's meniscus surgery, was a partial participant in Monday's practice, the team said.

Paul George will miss the 76ers' matchup with the Lakers on Tuesday. The MRI on his left hand is still being reviewed.
