CLEVELAND, Ohio - Warmer, stormy weather returns to the area on Wednesday. The National Weather Service’s forecast for tomorrow calls for highs in the upper 60s with rain expected throughout the day. There’s a slight chance for thunderstorms to develop later in the day as a strong system moves through the area.
Your Tuesday will be cloudy, rainy, and windy. Clouds will stick around all day, but the rain will come in waves. The first wave of rain will occur this morning with the chance of a wintry mix as well. There is a better chance of that wintry mix into northern Siouxland this morning.
High pressure will keep things dry today, with some gradual sunshine breaking out from the clouds. It will be cool, with highs reaching the mid 50s. Tonight will stay dry, but clouds increase ahead of a strong storm system.
Wind advisory is in effect Tuesday afternoon and evening, then there is a chance for severe storms mainly south of the metro tonight. Meteorologist Sean Everson has the latest forecast from Omaha's Weather Leader.
