A family is mourning the loss of their 4-year-old son who was hit and killed by a car in Burlingame Friday night.

A growing memorial lines the sidewalk outside a Burlingame restaurant where a 4-year-old boy was killed and a 6-year-old girl injured in a crash Friday evening. The collision happened around 6:30 p.m.

A young boy is dead after a chain-reaction crash caused by an e-bike rider and a sedan driver, Burlingame police said Saturday.

Speed was thought to have been a factor in the single-vehicle crash on Interstate 280 near the Cesar Chavez exit.

Video posted on TikTok showed the driver of one of the cars and his mother being transported after the two attempted to flee the country.
