Sunday afternoon's game between the Minnesota Twins and St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium in St. Louis was delayed during the fifth inning due to inclement weather in the area. There was not an immediately available restart time.

The Cardinals continued their winning on Saturday with a 5-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins at Busch Stadium. Fox 2 Sports reporter Kevin Ryans was in the Cardinals locker room after the win and has the post game report.

From Willi Castro’s double in the second inning, which drove in Trevor Larnach for the Twins’ only run of the day, to Gasper’s infield single to lead off the eighth, the Twins’ offense went hitless. Within that stretch, 13 straight hitters were sent down, as the Twins could do little off Cardinals starter Erick Fedde and reliever Ryan Fernandez.

Willi Castro homered for the Twins, who lost their first three games for the first time since 2016. The contest was halted by rain for 58 minutes in the middle of the fifth inning. Pages had three hits.
