The Chicago White Sox have optioned Sean Burke to Triple-A Charlotte after the right-hander failed to get out of the fourth inning in his last two starts.

The A’s are sixth in MLB in home runs, led by rookie Nick Kurtz, Shea Langeliers and former Twin Brent Rooker.
