Eight teams chasing redemption will take to the diamond in Williamsport, Pennsylvania Saturday with an opportunity to evade elimination and earn their first victory of the 2025 Little League World Series.

Fairfield was also part of the tournament’s lone one-run game so far, edging Lamar LL of Texas, 1-0, in a classic pitcher’s duel. Fairfield ace Luca Pellegrini stole the spotlight, striking out 11 and allowing just one hit in a dominant performance.

The 2025 Little League World Series is here -- with some of the best young baseball and softball players in the country. The Little League Baseball World Series (LLBWS) and the Little League Softball World Series (LLSWS) will showcase a field of 20 and 12 teams,
