Former LSU Heisman winners Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels shared a heartfelt postgame hug after their NFL preseason clash

Washington Commanders’ quarterback Jayden Daniels and Cincinnati Bengals’ wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase shared a warm moment ahead of their pregame on Monday (August 18) when the pair were seen shaking hands and exchanging a few words.

Daniels, a San Bernardino, California, native who transferred to LSU from Arizona State in 2022, has led the nation in total offense this season with 4,946 yards in 12 games (412.2 yards per game).

The Athletic recently ranked Ja'Marr Chase as the best NFL player under 25 years, beating out Jalen Carter and Jayden Daniels.
