The murder conspiracy charge Daybell faces requires proof that she intended to encourage or aid in first-degree murder and that either she or Alexander Cox planned to carry it out, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Justin Beresky told the 16 people selected to be jurors, including four alternates, on April 1.
If convicted in Arizona, Vallow Daybell would face a life sentence. She has already received three life sentences in Idaho for the murders of her children Tylee Ryan and Joshua Jaxon "JJ" Vallow and for conspiring to kill Daybell's wife, Tammy Daybell.
