A homeless man admitted why he pushed a woman into a moving subway train in New York City on Monday. Markeese Brazelis, 26, allegedly pushed a 23-year-old woman into a moving A train at the 175th Street subway station in Washington Heights in Manhattan around 9 a.

The 23-year-old woman was standing on the A train platform when she was pushed into the side of the subway car as it pulled into the station.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been sidelined by health concerns. His office said Monday he is scaling back his public schedule this week, as he attends doctors appointments and undergoes medical tests.

Adams’ office said he will have medical appointments this week but declined to provide details on any of his symptoms.
