The injuries piled on during today’s practice. Rookie safety Drew Mukuba appeared to suffer a hamstring injury during an individual drill and never returned to practice. Second-year wide receiver Johnny Wilson got rolled up during a team drill and couldn’t put pressure on his left foot. He was later carted inside.
Hurts has reached the playoffs in each of his first four seasons as the Eagles’ full-time starter. He has been to two of the last three Super Bowls and played mostly brilliantly in both, including winning it all seven months ago, earning the game’s MVP while bringing home Philadelphia’s second Lombardi Trophy.
