The Steelers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers are negotiating. At this point, they both need each other. And they each could be overplaying their hand. Pittsburgh has no viable alternative to Rodgers, unless the Falcons change their minds about not trading Kirk Cousins.

By acquiring DK Metcalf via a trade with the Seahawks, the Steelers now have a dangerous receiving duo similar to the one that resides in Philadelphia with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. To compete the plans, the Steelers just need to find their version of Jalen Hurts, which might very well be Justin Fields if Pittsburgh can re-sign him.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett is back in the AFC North. Pickett is heading to the Cleveland Browns for a fifth-round pick and Dorian Thompson-Robinson in return. The Browns have questions at quarterback.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Cleveland Browns are acquiring former Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick Kenny Pickett in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles. In exchange, the Eagles receive quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a 2025 fifth-round draft pick.
