The Commission conducted first General Elections to the MCD on 24-02-1997, and then on March-2002, April-2007, April-2012, April-2017. The Central Government had amended DMC Act on 15th April, 2022 curtailing the number of Wards from 272 to 250 for which Delimitation of Wards has to be done again.
