Nov 29, 2022 · VERY HAPPY about the win, and I hate to be that guy but Haji Wright shouldn’t see another minute. An absolute statue out there. No movement. Won’t use his big frame- soft. And instead of taking the ball to corner with 30 seconds left he rolls the ball to the keeper. He’s just not good, no awareness, and obviously selfish.

The 25-year-old went to the last World Cup in Qatar with the U.S. men’s team, scored a remarkable goal, and has not received another cap since the team’s round-of-16 defeat by the Netherlands in December 2022.

Obviously the standard of play is higher in the German top flight. But that still doesn’t change the fact that Haji Wright is the hottest goal scorer in the pool going into the WC.
