Today we walked in the woods in glorious sunshine and, much to the twin’s delight, found a ‘broken’ slow worm (legless lizard). Both bits were still wiggling, suggesting it had only just happened, and the head was missing. After having a good look, we left the bits behind for whatever had already eaten the head.
