Here is a quick fix for when two pieces of pottery get a little too familiar in the kiln. Whether or not you can salvage something like this really depends on how big the damage surface. This one was super easy. They came apart at a light tap. All I had to do was grind the extra chunk off with minimum damage to my piece. Also because it was a house where I intentionally used porcelain slip on top of stoneware to create uneven, rough walls it didn’t matter much that some of the surface was uneven
