DAL MAKHANI ~ sharing my recipe to celebrate the spirit of Diwali, this October. I cook this king of dals in a pressure cooker, but if you do not have one, simply soak the daal and kidney beans overnight, then cook them in a pan — it will take upto 1 and 1/2 hours to soften them beautifully.
