Charlie with her newborn AKC Golden Retriever puppies about 12 hours old. She did a nice job of cleaning them up. You may notice she has pushed the bedding aside and they are mostly on the tile floor. Most of our Golden Mothers are warmer when they want to be while nursing their puppies, so this is not unusual. Usually we can get the puppies mostly on the bedding and it makes it easier to clean up after them. We have a window AC unit in that room and I turned it down to 62 degrees to try to help
