From the Exhibition - Evansville: Then & Now Southwest Corner of Fourth & Sycamore Streets YMCA, 1901 The Hulman Building, 2023 Completed in 1901 at a cost of $78,000, the Young Men's Christian Association Building, YMCA, featured a gym, running track, swimming pool, and convocation hall for 700 people. The building served as a YMCA until 1914 when the organization moved its recreational facilities to 203 Northwest Fifth Street. The building was subsequently used by the YMCA as business offices
