this is how i make my mexican rice: 1 1/2 cup jasmine rice 4 cups water 1 tbsp tomato boullion 1/2 tbsp chicken boullion 1/2 tbsp garlic powder (if you want drier rice, use less water - about 3 cups) 1. preheat pan and add about 1 tbsp of rice to pan 2. toast rice until golden brown, be careful not to burn 3. add in water and seasonings and bring to a simmer 4.reduce heat to low, cover for 20-25 mins 5. fluff with a fork, cover until ready to serve #mexicanrice #arrozrojo #mexicanfood #recetasfa
