200 new fire trucks, and 100 refurbished fire trucks, will be injected into New South Wales' firefighting fleet. 70 fire trucks were destroyed during the 2019/2020 fire season. The new and refurbished truck program will cost $67 million. There's severe delays in Cardiff this evening as police respond to two major incidents. City Road in Cardiff is partially blocked, due to an emergency services incident at Strathnairn Street, with South Wales Fire and Rescue Service at the scene. There's diversions in place for bus service nine as the incident plays out. Elsewhere in the city, South Wales Police are in attendance at a collision on Cowbridge Road East.
