This morning, we said goodbye to one of Kenya’s oldest and most cherished hippos. Sally passed away peacefully at Bamburi Haller Park at the age of 54, after a long life well lived. She will be preserved by the dedicated teams at KWS and the National Museums of Kenya, ensuring her remarkable story continues to educate and inspire future generations.
