Ok hear me out: Poodle mixes (especially large ones) are typically NOT low maintenance dogs. I see SO many families who bought or adopted a Bernedoodle, labradoodle, Aussiedoodle etc, thinking they were getting a chill, low maintenance easy family dog. And while some of these dogs CAN be amazing (and many of them are!) low maintenance is not how I would describe them. Most need frequent grooming and coat upkeep, many of them struggle with sensitive GI systems and skin and I see so.many.doodles.
